BIO

RACHEL OLSON HAS been working in ceramics and jewelry for nearly a decade. Aesthetically influenced by the process of decay, she works to create pieces for those inspired by ruin. With her jewelry, as an example, she uses primarily found materials, but applies her foundation in more traditional jewelry fabrication to create pieces that are well-designed and sturdy.

Rachel has received her bachelor of arts degree from Lewis & Clark in Portland, Oregon. She has been teaching Ceramics to children for seven years.

The prices of Rachel's work are intentionally kept low, to keep them within the reach of the average person. She regularly donates her skills and work to local alternative education and environmental groups.
